로맨틱 코미디하면 떠오르는 그 음악 'Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles'

 

로맨틱 코미디 영화를 좋아하는 분들이라면 'A Thousand Miles'을 한 번쯤 들어보셨을 겁니다.

2002년에 발매된 바네사 칼튼(Vanessa Carlton)의 Be Not Nobody 앨범에 수록된 곡으로

지금도 드라마와 영화 배경음악으로 사용되고 있는데요.

 

영화 금발이 너무해(Legally Blonde)와 화이트 칙스(White Chicks)에서 들을 수 있었던 이 곡을

넷플릭스 영화 어쩌다 로맨스(Isn't It Romantic)를 통해 다시 듣게 되었습니다.

어쩌다 로맨스에서는 로맨틱 코미디 영화라면 꼭 나와야 하는 배경음악처럼 이 곡이 여러번 나왔는데요.

 

청량한 피아노 건반 선율로 시작하는 'A Thousand Miles'은 매번 들을 때마다

시원한 바람을 맞으며 노래를 따라 불러야 할 것 같은 기분과 함께 소녀감성을 자극하는 것 같습니다.

 

개인적으로 영화 화이트 칙스에서 '테리 크루즈'가 이 노래를 따라 부르는 장면이 아직까지도 기억에 남는데요.^^

미세먼지에 맑은 하늘은 볼 수 없지만

지난달보다 따뜻해진 날씨와 활동하기 좋은 봄이 와서 그런지 이 노래가 더욱 끌리는 것 같습니다.

2002년에 나온 곡이지만 지금 들어도 기분 좋아지는 이 곡!
