데드풀 2(Deadpool 2)속 그 음악, 9 to 5

2018년 5월에 개봉한 영화 데드풀 2(Deadpool 2).

19금 B급 슈퍼히어로 액션 영화인 데드풀 2를 보신 분들이라면,

영화에 수록된 80~90년대 감성을 불러일으키는 팝송 명곡들을 들어보셨을 텐데요.

 

데드풀 2 OST에 수록된 곡들 중 전 요즘 들어 돌리 파튼(Dolly Parton)의 9 to 5를 자주 듣게 됩니다.

미국의 대표적인 싱어송라이터 컨트리 여가수이자 배우인 돌리 파튼이 부른 곡으로 

1980년에 자신이 출연한 동명 영화의 주제곡으로 불러 당시 많은 인기를 얻었다고 하는데요.

지금도 인기 있는 유명 컨트리 팝송으로 국내 예능 프로그램의 배경음악을 통해 가끔씩 듣게 되는 곡이기도 합니다.

 

데드풀 2에서는 초반에 데드풀이 홍콩 삼합회와 마피아를 소탕하는 장면에서 돌리 파튼의 '9 to 5'가 흘러오며,

잔인한 장면을 되려 유쾌하고 경쾌한 분위기로 만드는 걸 볼 수 있었습니다.

아침 9시부터 오후 5시까지 힘들게 일하는 노동자들의 삶을 담은 곡이라고 하는데

열일하는(?) 데드풀의 모습과 왠지 잘 어울렸는데요.^^

데드풀 2 외에도 영화 덤플링(Dumplin')에서 이 곡을 들을 수 있었습니다.

돌리 파튼을 좋아하는 10대 여학생이 주인공인 영화이기에 돌리 파튼의 노래를 더 많이 알고 들을 수 있었습니다.
