레디 플레이어 원(Ready Player One)속 그 음악 'Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive'

 

영화 '레디 플레이어 원 (Ready Player One)'에서 아바타 캐릭터인 파르지발과 아르테미스가 댄스 클럽에서 이 노래에 맞춰 춤을 춥니다.

 

그 노래는 바로,

Bee Gees(비지스)의 Stayin' Alive

 

1977년에 제작된 영화 '토요일 밤의 열기(Saturday Night Fever)'의 OST에 수록된 곡이기도 한데요.

(유명한 영화지만 아직 토요일 밤의 열기를 못봤습니다.^^;;

하지만 영화 속에서 존 트라볼타가 춤추는 클립 영상과 노래는 확실하게 기억하고 있고,

이 영화의 또 다른 명곡 비지스의 How deep Is Your Love라는 곡이 엄청 좋다는 사실은 알고 있습니다. ^^)

 

1970년대 후반, 디스코 열풍을 일으킨 비지스의 노래를 레디 플레이어 원에서 다시 듣게 되니

알고 있는 노래인데도 왠지 새롭게만 다가왔는데요.

애니메이션 마다가스카(Madagascar) 1편에서 들은 이후로 오랜만에 이 노래를 다시 듣게 되었는데

그때나 지금이나 가라앉은 기분을 UP 시키는 건 여전합니다.^^

그래서 요즘 Stayin' Alive를 약 복용하듯 챙겨 듣고 있습니다.

이러다가 올드팝에 빠져버릴지도...ㅋㅋ
